Walker Tottman
PhD Student, School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability, University of Waterloo. Based in Vancouver.
I'm a PhD student in the School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability at the University of Waterloo, based in Vancouver. My research sits between food-systems scholarship, political economy, and discard studies.
I'm currently at the comprehensive-exam stage, working across three overlapping areas: food waste, discard studies, and the politics of knowledge; power, corporate concentration, and governance in the global food economy; and transformation, theories of change, and the knowledge-to-action gap. My dissertation focus is still taking shape.
My supervisor is Dr. Jennifer Clapp.
